I’m interested in going to a concert, tickets are still available at £55 through Ticketmaster and the other usual sites.

I’d hoped to be able to pick up a couple of tickets that someone didn’t need or want any more for maybe £30-£40, but I don’t see any on any of the sites for resale.

Is this because there are still full price tickets available, or are people no longer allowed to resell tickets in these sites?

Depends how far in advance you are looking to buy, and the demand for tickets.

Most people plans don't change until a week or so before the event, so maybe worth setting up an alert on the likes of Twickets if you are hoping for something below face value.

The concert is in two weeks time so thought there would be some by now.

Thanks for the Twickets idea. Will have a look at that.

Probably get them on the day, depends who it is as well.

I've been to loads that have sold out, on the day, go onto the Facebook event and put a post up saying your near the venue looking for a ticket..

I sold 2 tickets that way as well, was willing to accept £40 off face value but the guy insisted I sold them to him for face value as I hadn't mucked him around, result.

Getting tickets in this country is a pain in the rear these days with bots etc, I tend to go gigs abroad now.

People will probably flog them higher through tout web sites rather than sell cheaper.

Try to, Twickets for example, on the day of the gig people were selling Rammstein tickets for like £10.
