I went and saw Bac last week, they are so very good. Are the others significantly better?
RoFM's rendition of Gypsy should answer that question for you.

That's very good indeed. Guy on the left is playing what looks like a very nice copy of Peter Green's Les Paul as well (it'll be a copy as, AFAIK, the original is still owned by the estate of Gary Moore)

Hey Dandarez, they was a great read, thanks dude. The video is cracking too.
I bought Rumours when it came out on the strength of the radio playing the singles. It took me ages to appreciate how excellent a player and singer Buckingham is.
Some time ago I saw something about Danny Kirwan and did some research on him. An absolutely amazing playing apparently and his demise was sad reading. I had meant to become familiar with his work but forgot. This thread has now prompted me to do so. Ditto for the Peter Green music era.
The wife is good friends with Grace Slick, and according to Grace Buckingham never took any music lessons and can't read music, which makes his talent even more impressive. bow

I’d never heard of this band until now. Fantastic renditions.
The girl who sounds like Stevie Nicks, wow, how did they find her? They’re all great though.

A lot of their gigs look fully seated. I’d want to be standing ideally. Is it just a case of checking each venue?

Website says more dates soon for ‘23 so I’m hoping they come up towards Newcastle upon a tyne. If not I’ll make a weekend of it and go to Buxton maybe.

People get up and dance the last half dozen songs usually.

But yes, they should play somewhere with a pit.

Emily and Jess are wonderful singers

Sorry I missed that reply TTmonkey, but yes it’s good to get up at a music gig. I’ve only been to one seated one, Radiohead in Belfast, as my mate had a broken collarbone after a bike accident. Pretty boring being seated, even though I’m not really a dancer when I do stand.

Anyway I’ve just booked up for the Sage Gateshead.
I almost booked Buxton or Edinburgh to make a weekend of it but I’m up in Northumberland just north of Newcastle upon Tyne, so the Sage is ideal.
Meal and a few drinks on the Quayside then over the bridge to the gig.

Really looking forward to it and I only found them through this thread so thanks folks. thumbup
