Did anyone see Whitesnake recently? I thought Coverdale's voice was shocking. Time waits for no man etc but I felt cheated that he was selling tickets when he really cannot sing anymore. Plus, whilst the band was no doubt technically proficient, there was no soul to it. Europe and Foreigner were both good so the evening wasn't a total waste.

Saw him at the Eithiad a few weeks back. He was absolutely bloody brilliant!

Enjoy. I've been dragged along twice this year and, whilst he's not really my cup of tea, he is very good at what he does, has some good tunes and the show is very good.

Looking forward to Billy Idol and then The Pretty Reckless in October, plus the Taylor Hawkins tribute in September.

Stones tonight in Hyde Park… it will be the last time, although I seem to have been saying that for about the last 15 years.

Myself and the missus are going to see that in Glasgow, ordered the tickets in 2019 and still not here! Panicking a little bit...

As he was last night, loved every minute. A nice mix of his old and new stuff too.
And being Wembley the scale of the place as a music venue never fails to impress me (just as a smaller more intimate venue does but for different reasons).

Well that was blinking fantastic.

Kits had a superb time too - their first ever gig & what a gig 80,000 odd goers and Ed Sheeran 👍.

Music festival called "Siren's Call" yesterday in Luxembourg, rescheduled from 2020 and 2021. Headline was originally Foals, but changed to The Hives, and I'm pleased they changed in the end. A much livelier set from The Hives than you'd get from Foals.

Also saw Nothing But Thieves for the 1st time. I'll be looking up their stuff online. They put on a good early evening set.

biffy clyro last night at ingleston (big top) in edinburgh. I think i’m getting close to having seen them about 10 times now, but they are bloody good live!

the big top tent was a great little set up for a gig. bar queues were fine and seemed enough toilets to go round. only complaint was lothian busses, who put on specific busses for the gig, they were due to leave city centre at 6:20, but the first band was only at 6:45! bit crap and i didn’t see the first band!

next stop- red hot chilli peppers (supported by anderson paak!) on friday!

Brilliant night at Hyde Park yesterday for the Stones - fantastic performance and great energy at any age, never mind their vintage.
Tip for anyone going to Hyde Park - if you don’t have a ticket for the front section, get there early or you’re a long way away and looking down a tunnel between the mixing desks.

Saw them Friday night. Great gig. Weezer and Fall Out Boy were decent enough too (hadn't heard much of the latter before).

Wish I could have seen RHCP at the same venue...but cricket called.

So Rammstein.
I’d not bought a ticket initially, but thanks to them rescheduling twice my lads mate was on holiday so gave me his standing ticket. I confess, I have the odd song on my playlist but nothing more.
Coventry last night. Absolutely no words to describe that spectacle. One of, if not the best, show I’ve ever been to. I have never seen so much smoke and fire. From a keyboard player who spent almost the entire gig on a treadmill to a backpack of fireworks on the lead singer. Spent most of my evening turning to the lad and asking WTF?!

I’d go again in a heartbeat.

Am going to Cardiff Thursday. Looking forward to it. Can you tell me what time they came on and what time it finished?

I can give you a setlist, this has been pretty rigid so far.

They came on around half eight, set is 1 hour and 30 give or take but with encores and riding the crowd on boats etc put a finish time of roughly 10.15/10.30.
Enjoy!
