Globe Theatre London.

Hi Guys,
Mrs.Chips recently retired. One of her retirement gifts was a tour of the Globe Theatre in London, followed by afternoon tea for two at The Swan.
Has anyone on here done this? If so, what can we expect?
We have arranged a two night stay in London at the beginning of July and are doing the tour on the first afternoon. The only issue is that, on the details for the tour it recommends, “smart, casual dress,” and at that point, we won’t have been able to access our hotel room, so will be in the gear that we travelled down in. If you have been, what did you wear? Will smart jeans cut it or not?

I’ve been to the Swan many times in jeans - even had a hoodie on last time due to cold weather.
No one batted an eyelid.

Can’t help on the tour but the Swan was great - had the gentleman’s afternoon tea.

I did the tour a number of years ago and strongly suspect i was wearing jeans.

Can’t remember too much about the tour apart from enjoying it and would do it again.
