Just seen this. Seen DM many times and grew up with their music.

Sad news.

Good grief.

You'll need some bass range for this one - Orbit remix of Walking In My Shoes,

fk no. How sad. One of my favourite bands - have a massive 12" collection from the mode.

60 is no age. God really does have a sick sense of humour.

Totally gutted.

WIMS absolutely my favourite dm song.

Such a rich period of British music. So many passing away.

Just listening to the live SoFaD recording, saw them twice within a week in Dortmund and Berlin on that tour, absolutely awesome.

Really shocked and saddened. Ive been a Depeche Mode fan since the beginning and last saw them in Birmingham a few years back - they were as awesome as ever!

Big fan of DM. This is so untimely and such a shock.
How can they go on now?

RIP Fletch.

Taken far too soon frown

I'll admit, I wasn't a DM fan but their tunes were always "there" on the radio back in the day. However, and bizarrely, I bought this back in the late 1990's:-

Which included a sympathetic re-mix of this:-

Took much more of an interest after that

Preferred this version https://youtu.be/ppmURlkvY28

Always thought the key change on the word 'time' was very clever though.

Always thought Dave would go first and early given his past heroin addictions

Their dark stuff like the K&D mix of Useless is sublime; saw them once only in Manchester and was blown away just how good they were live; really unexpected. Harsh news and a sad blow to music
