Not excatly music but Henry Rollins is touring in spring with a "spoken word" show,

thinking of buying ticket for Wiesbaden.

I have seen / heard some of his spoken word stuff and it can be anything from anecdotes

to thoughts on nowadays music, society and politics, Rollins still has a great stage presence.

Never seen Rollins so I ought to go - London tickets seemed v.expensive when released (and I think sold out now) though.

Just noticed that Titus Andronicus are going to be in Glasgow in a couple of weeks. Excited for that as I’ve been a fan for years and never seen them.

Laibach next weekend. First gig in a hell of a log time. Not too familiar with their stuff but watched their "Liberation Day" documentary this weekend as a warmup...

Orbital - Good Friday, Rock City, Nottingham.

Scarily, the last time I saw Orbital at Rock City will have been 30 years ago. They've aged well. Me ? Not so much
Funnily enough I went to their (supposedly!) last ever gig at Brixton Academy in (about 2008) ... it was before I met my wife and we've been married 10yrs! hehe

Glad to see they didn't jack it in, I've just fired up Belfast whilst working from home ... what a tune!

I have a few lined-up now.

Panic Shack @ Tunbridge Wells Forum in February

The Go! Team @ Lafayette London in March

The Goa Express @ The Lower Third London in May

Dodgy @ Kentish Town Forum in June

Embrace @ The Piece Hall Halifax in July

Incidentally, glad to see The Lower Third marking a welcome return of a live music venue on Denmark Street (on the site of the old 12 Bar Club which closed in 2015).

I saw the warm ups had been announced - I am at the Albert Hall one - I booked 2 boxes right over the front stage..
Saw them at Glastonbury about 83/84 and in Bristol around 1980 I think the Berkeley or Bierkeller - I have quite a lot of their original vinyl - they were a huge part of my late teens.

The National at Ally Pally in September, going on the second night as I was too slow out of the blocks to get a ticket for the first night.

Also hoping to get a ticket to see The Walkmen at Koko who have booked a three night residency there, although that probably means that they will soon be announced for End Of The Road Festival, which I have early bird tickets for, but announced an otherwise very disappointing (for me) line up yesterday.

Adding The Who in July at Edinburgh Castle to the calendar today. Surprised how easy it was to get a ticket to be honest.

Spiritbox - 13th July The Roundhouse

Can't wait for either music

Updated:

Pulp - 28th July, Eventim Apollo

Muse - 1st October, O2 Greenwich

Did not consult the diary here - Ash and Muse are on consecutive nights - crazy weekend incoming at end of September!

James (with orchestra) and Sparks, both at the Armadillo in Glasgow in May.

Always nice to have a day in Glasgow, a nice early dinner somewhere and then a gig.

Mrs bought us tix for beautiful days! Only a couple of must see acts as it stands (dreadzone, Justin Sullivan) but that's ok, will be the first festival since the olden times and maybe even the last as we plan to be living a long way away in a couple of years! So it had to be done...

Also just saw PWEI gigs, 2 nights each London and Brum but quite can't discern if it's 2 gigs or a 2 night set, anyone?
