So many possible answers, I will let you fill it in according to your own colors.

Very succinctly expressed.

All alone, or in twos
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down, outside the wall
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands
The bleeding hearts and the artists make their stand
And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall

I'd be surprised if this was 100% on the money

“Mr Waters performed in Berlin this week and used the name of Anne Frank to stoke division, performed whilst dressed as an SS soldier and used the Star of David on a giant pig to insinuate that Jewish people run the world.

The Germans, for some reason, are rather sensitive about people dressing as SS soldiers (IIRC it is a criminal offence and can lead to chokey)

Lordy, that's fkn awful. It's like one of those "tribute" Youtube acts who cover a famous song - but a lot worse.

Yes that is dire, as expected.
To quote Mr Waters:

Just got back from the cinema where there was a live screening of tonight's concert from Prague,

If anyone has seen his recent tours will tell you that on the big screens he often name checks many people from all regions that have been killed, usually civilians killed by the state. If I remember correctly during either 'The Wall' tour or his last tour during the intermission the video wall showed pictures and names of military personnel that had been killed serving their country.

Anne Frank, was name checked along with the text (something like) "Where : Germany, "Reason : Being Jewish". There was another (cannot remember their name) "Where : Palestine, Name : xxxxxxxxx, Reason : Being Palestinian". There were many other others named, with reasons such as Being Black, Being Gay etc..

He has always used the Star Of David along with other national and corporate emblems/logos during the concert, usually in anti war, anti capitalism songs.

If you put the speed up to 1.75 it gets a dancey feel to it.

I've opined before; Waters is an inventive bass player, and a great lyricist.

Unfortunately, he lives here:-

I understand that David Gilmour wrote and recorded several of the more difficult bass pieces. Roger thanked him for the awards. So that leaves just the lyrics and perhaps a bit of "edge".

Waters at the O2 had a go at Gilmour's wife by saying 'imagine waking up to that in the morning'. Gilmour has just responded on his twitter.

So, Waters can add misogyny to the long list of things that makes him an utter asshole.

He explains that in the very sweary and ranty video he posted the other day.

https://youtu.be/AwIZoJSrIJU

It was on the pig, at one time, in 2013, for five shows in Belgium. It was amongst a collection of other symbols including the Christian crucifix and Islamic star and crescent and the Soviet hammer and sickle. He got complaints and decided to remove it.
