Earth point welded to chassis diff side

Help guys..... which eart lead is connected to this chassis point and where does it go to/come from?

There isn't one on my chassis and I checked pics from other restaurations and there is also no earth point at this position.

Probably it wasn't in use...

Hmmmmm..... why didn't I take enough pictures? So, the only things running through the hole of the body (fuel feed line to fuel pump) are the fuel line and the piece of wiring loom which goes to the fuel pump, speedo sensor at the diff and a connector that goes to the black round environmental canister?

Had a look on mine - didn't spot anything similar

Nothing there on my '98 either, the only studs at the rear being one for the brake pipe T-piece and two for the fuel pump.

Strange..... I'll leave it alone then
