Supposed to start at ~ £40k. They need to keep some clear water price-wise between this and the Mach-E.
I think it looks interesting, but I’d prefer an estate car EV, which seems to be a chronically under represented sector at the moment. Guess an SUV platform gives more potential for balancing finding a home for batteries with driver, passenger and luggage space requirements

Oh, wow - that's massively smaller than past Explorer then.I did think it had a bit of an Evoque look about it.

Not great from a usage perspective though? The bottom of the screen leaves you looking well away from the road similar to the Tesla Model S/X. It might not look great but the screen in the Model 3/Y is far safer and more useable IME.DMZ said:
To be fair, why not platform share with VW? It’s all pretty much the same ol stuff anyhow. Just a different screen with a different operating system. Exciting times.

Fair point, depends what they put there I suppose. Plenty of pre touchscreen cars with heater controls and other buttons that low, but you don't always need to look at them to get the right one like you do with a touch screen.Gassing Station | EV and Alternative Fuels | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
