Dave Lee Roth, though I think he's great, brilliant in VH, and excellent on his own, saw most late 80's early 90's london shows.. is NOT a great singer. Amazing frontman, entertainer, personality etc....

Thats what front men and singers have to be though! Sebastian Bach is an entertainer but doesn't have the voice of Bruce Dickinson!

DLR is a great singer as well as an entertainer, better than Sammy Hagar!

Agreed about Paul Rogers. A class act.

Joe Lynn Turner recorded 'Slaves & Masters' with Deep Purple in 1989 (released 1990) It does sound a bit Rainbow but has some good moments none the less.
