I've done a search and couldn't find this topic covered, though I'm sure it must have been.

Anyway, listening to the radio today, I heard again what I've always regarded as one of the best baselines on a music track I've ever heard.

Wait for it......

Madonna's "get into the groove" smile I know it synthesised but is just so good to follow.

I eagerly await the napalm but would also like to hear your favourites so I can check them out. Any genre of music you like, because I've got a very varied taste.

Not really a baseline, but McCartney's bass work on Something is absolutely beautiful.

Chemical Brothers - Under the influence.

EIther that or Vlad the Impaler - Kasabian - has a ripping bass line.

I would say : Studio 1 - Green C is the most pushing and best baseline.
