Worst album covers EVER
Discussion
I know a lot of you have seen my sad collection (and have added to it), but there may be many here that have not, so I thought I'd chuck up a link.

How incredibly apt!
My band has just lost a keyboard player and a photographer because of disagreements over the cover of our album
Long story short, the (unofficial, amateur) photgrapher wanted 100% of the artwork to be hers. Ok, said we, so send us your shots for front cover. A few bad examples later (and much argument) later, and I did the cover.
Still, artwork was approved yesterday and the CD guy says it's going to look fantastic, so I'm over the moon!
Makes me worry though when you see some album covers - that people genuinely looked and said "yes, that's what I want on the front".

"Orion.....your name is Orion, isn't it?"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Orion_Ellis
Orion (February 26, 1945 – December 12, 1998) was the stage name of rockabilly singer Jimmy Ellis. Following the death of Elvis Presley in August 1977, Ellis dressed and sang in the manner of Presley and wore a mask during public appearances, fueling speculation that Presley had faked his death and returned to singing. Ellis' singing and natural speaking voice very closely resembled Presley's. Ellis had recorded rock and country singles under his real name for a number of independent labels since the early 1960s before adopting the Orion persona for Sun Records — Presley's first recording label — in 1980.

Sorry lads, but when it comes to dodgy album covers, the Russians are way ahead/behind, depending on how you looks at it...
