Love it.

What are you using to make your mixes now?
I first put all the tracks into Platinum Notes to get all the levels the same, then into Mixed in Key for harmonic mixing, then the tracks go into Mixmeister for the actual mixing.

that's really interesting, thank you Rob - i especially like the 'captain chords' plug in - might invest in that once the I've rebuilt the studio in the new house smile

Time for a new one. A 138 mix again, seem to be more tracks I like at this tempo at the moment.

Well done Rob!

I have been toying with the Roland DJ202 controller, it's only £250 for what is essentially only a hobby for me.

The roland appeals to me because it has midi out and can use BPM to sync other stuff in the studio - like my TB-3 as an example.

The idea of mixing tracks into custom, live produced backing tracks to give some early dance music some real bite really excites me smile

Just listening to this thanks. I was in my prime in the 80-90's and have yet to see it replicated, it was like the 60's hippy generation but with Ecstasy instead/aswell as LSD!

House started it but I always favoured Trance as I found it more trippy smile If they ever legalise drugs? I will definitley be taking some decent MDMA to celebrate retiring from work.

thanks Rob.

I miss your soundcloud days, it's a pain in the ass to play on the sonos unless i download, upload to an iTunes server (Which i don't have yet) and then play.
