Really cannot get the song from the Olympics opening ceremony out my head these last couple of days. Underworld, And I will kiss. Just downloaded the who album from the Olympics, Isles of wonder, purely just for this. Goes on for about 17 minutes, you can probably skip the first 2 minutes or so.

Underworld were at their best when Emerson was on board. Awesome talent.

This (which is also on the Olympics album), takes me back biggrin

I Surrender by David Sylvian, heard it years ago but it left my mind, then bang it's on the Guy Garvey R6 show and I realise how good it is.

These were the soundtrack to me growing up (I wasn't even 1 when this was released laugh). Saw them at the London Guitar Show some years back, just booked tickets to see them at Koko in December woohoo

SuperDry normally play loudish music in-store, yesterday they had this playing in their Gunwharf Outlet, liked it, I think for it's 80s (cloud9) qualities, Shazam'd it. I think it's the very 80s Drum Machine and Synth Organ parts...

Ben Howard "I will be blessed", very nice song

and "Bones"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64VbS1Lkx7E

slow start but the chorus starting at 1.30 has an effective edge and bite to it and the way the lyrics in it are changed, like at 4.00 mins in builds the story cleverly.
