Somehow managed to get from that Conan video to Indukti, who I've not heard of before.

Nice!
Edit to avoid thread spammery. I have entered a YouTube prog metal vortex (makes a change from slam death metal!), and very good it is too. Some finds I'm enjoying:-

Ghosts new one (as mentioned further back in the thread) is really good.
Bizarrely I picked up their album, Death of a Dead Day when it came out, in HMV and found it to be a signed copy. Apparently they had signed however many early copies of their album and I randomly managed to buy one.

Watched SikTh tonight. Bloody love that band.
Very good band actually. I recall a friends band back in 2002 touring with Sikth so I have their early EPs and what not. Absolutely torn this morning, one of my favourite bands, Static-X, are releasing a new "tribute" album using the last vocals of their deceased singer along with guest vocalists, it's the original line-up from the first album from 20 years ago including Tony Campos who had a massive falling out with Wayne Static before he died.

I'm excited about new music from "them" and got goosebumps when I heard the first few notes but at the same time it reeks of a cash-in opportunity by people who weren't close to the main driving force behind the band at the end or even on the later albums.
So I'm happy and sad about this at the same time, it feels really weird.
Anyway I think they're awesome and probably just need to think about the music and none of the associated drama.
