Excuse my general ignorance here - but where do the likes of Blame and Sub Focus fit in terms of these genres? And Pendulum?

Incidentally, regardless of genre, Pendulum live are well worth a visit. Saw them at Brixton, and I'd easily put them in my top 5 of a LOT of gigs.

Sub Focus is very mainstream DnB recently, to the point of being dance music almost. Not necessarily a bad thing, I don't mind a few of his songs. Someone called Pendulum Stadium DnB which is sort of true but their most recent album is very hard to classify as DnB I think. Their Hold your Colour album was the first to interest me in any sort of DnB, even though that is quite individual too.

Pendulum don't even make dnb anymore IMO, its just.. well.. crap! They need to stop making crap just to make money, and make tunes like this again:

Pendulum - Masochist

I think Sub Focus is going the same way to be honest...

Edit- One of my favourite tunes from a while back smile :

Sigma - Nexus

Pendulum do their own thing

Sub Focus is an eclectic guy but moved off more onto his Moroder/Vangelis electro influenced style.

Blame is the liquid style, Hospital, etc

I posted this a few weeks back but it was a live version and not very clear. Today the album landed and the track is available in full. Many hate the vocals, but this definitely falls straight into my list of tracks that can turn any mood into a happy one.

Maybe my fave DnB album of all time, a masterpiece in drawing you in with some light and fuzzy stuff and before you know it, it's pretty darn dark!

Quite like that, even though I'm more into the darker stuff.

Loving this tune at the moment:

Doctor P - Sweet Shop (Friction Vs Camo & Krooked Remix)

Yes, I know the pedants will point out that its infact drumstep, but its close enough to DnB paperbag
