Pretty impressive. Looks very slippy, and the tyres are AT's at the most, by the looks of it. Well done for taking it up there. My cap is doffed.

Awesome, that really looks like a great way to spend the day.

My 8 year old son is obsessed with these vehicles and keeps begging me to get either a FFRR or defender to do this.

Do it... I have way more fun going slowly, than I do going fast.

He gets it from my brother who's had several 90, 110s, currently with 110 station wagon with proper wheels/tyres and snorkel etc.

I have promised the boy we'll have a look at doing it after our house refurb is finished next year!

Sorry guys, long overdue pictures, but I've been at an exhibition all week.

My favourites to prove that a FFRR can handle all Derbyshire can throw at it:-

Good pics. How nervous were yopu when you turned up and saw all the other cars with big metal bumpers, and gnarly tryes? hehe

What tyres did you have on it? They look like road/AT to my eyes. Did well regardless. Still, the FFRR needs more racing stripes! Did you get any on your trip?

To be fair, he didn't look that nervous. He was a chilled-out sort of chap. biggrin

The tyres were road based tyres, we were chatting about the difficulties of finding all terrains for the 20" wheels. At one point on the climb along stanage edge, I remember seeing the tyre squash right up tot he rim on a rock and was convinced there was going to be a blowout. hehe

I went up to see if I could make it. Unfortunately there was zero chance without ripping off the entire front end. I am up for a risk, but once we eyed it up for size it was a big no no.
