Oh, I'm happy with the Grabber ATs but I was just interested in your opinion of them relative to the AT2s.

We have 19 inch "Discovery 3/4" sized wheels on our ML. I use it almost entirely on the road but occasionally on loose gravel, slippery mud/grass. The ATs were put on for the snow 2 years ago and we just left them on - found them as good as the road tyres on the road, with all the advantages that an AT gives.

Hello people,

Thought this would be the best thread to ask in as its doing my nut in when googling what i want.

What i want is a tyre that i can go 'soft' green laning in (ive got a scooby forester - same ground clearence height of a Freelander roughly, so nothing to harcore) thats also good on the road for the 'winter' months.

When the weather picks back up again, ill stick another set of rims on with my 'summer' tyres so im guessing im looking for A/T tyres but do i need M+S?

Im not looking to spend a fortune on tyres so will probably go down the 2nd hand/ebay route from trusted sources.

Also, are Kingpin tyres just rebranded BFG's or share the same tread pattern?

Thanks
What about Yokohama Geolanders as per standard fit on the new ones? Still road bias (most important place to have grip IMO!) but a bit more able off the beaten track.

I think Kingpin tyres are remoulds?
