An obstacle on a lane at the weekend - a swift chop saw it cleared

Finally made it to the land of many Pingu's and have had a little time to get out and explore. Picture shows your average quality A road equivalent.
I'd completely forgotten I used to own one of these. Although, in my defense, I didn't really get to use it off road.

.

Unfortunately, circumstances were against me at the time and I simply couldn't stomach the poor mpg.

I must add, though, it was one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven.

Can’t remember if I have put this up before.

Have done a few local lanes in it, general tow car and daily run around,

Not that I do many miles nowadays!

4.6 L of air suspension loveliness.

Here is my land cruiser series 120 in the plains having been put through its paces!

We also have two quite lovely and smooth running V8 G500’s and a brutish Supercharged V8 G55. All RHD which is rare considering there were less than 40 built in RHD for each model.

PS if anyone knows of a non-damaging safe way to remove the silly big raised bubble decals from the sides, I'd be grateful. Truck is shouty enough as it is...

Our Renegade Trailhawk after a day out competing in a trial near Dunbar with the Scottish Off Road Club. My first time driving it off road properly and it proved very capable.

Cheers.

My latest acquisition, a 2010 Nissan Xterra. Haven’t taken it off road yet, waiting for a bit of suspension work before I do that

Mine. Not as off road competent as some on here, but a lot of fun (turbo converted, 380bhp / 700kg and switchable maps)

That was up at some tracks near Pickering at the start of the year, great fun, although the car was fairly slow there as it was it's first outing since a rebuild and was understeer city.
Good laugh though, especially given the amount of 4wd cars that got stuck in the muddy stuff in the bottom of the forest when a little 2wd buggy managed to scrabble through it hehe

Bit lower on the performance spec than yours there though, was only on low boost - 300bhp - and 900kg loaded up there.

I don't know if you've seen it but it's worth watching the ep of Dirt Every Day where they took a trailhawk renegade over the Rubicon Trail. Impressively capable little things.

If only more people with cars like yours would have a go at trials - so much fun can be had for little expense.

Of course, it starts costing when you get hooked rofl
