Paid a sniff over 20K for it.
White with grey cloth.
200k kms but had some time on the AUH commute. Full history at dealer including belts and brakes in October.
Failed the test on tyres so seller had to put new shoes on her too Result.
Did the Barracuda run after transfer to blow the cobwebs away. Slight sign of a grumbly bearing at the back, but nothing else to report.
Sounds fantastic, and corners very well.
Still waiting on the report from ARM for the Lambo...

Got the report from ARM.
AED3k+ for a window switch
AED1100+ for wipers (Ford focus fitment that actually cost less than 150!)
And major items with huge 'investigation' costs, but unspecified repair costs. Misfire/ABS not working/Alarm fault/steering fault.
Clutch at 57% worn.
Oh dear.

Just comes down to price and risk really.
The risk of the misfire being 100dhs worth of spark plugs, or a 500dhs battery to sort out. Or a 150,000dhs engine.
Or the ABS being sorted by the same new battery, or a 25k control unit.
etc.
They do get terribly temperamental if the battery voltage drops, like it would if its been sat for, say, 3 years doing only 500kms per year.....
Tyres/clutch/badge etc are all known costs and can be factored in, but the other stuff is the billion dirham gamble. I reckon it might be worth a flutter, if the price is right...

Bearing in mind how close to my car my colleague tends to park in the office, I'd struggle with those doors..shirt said:

Checking out Dubizzle as I’m searching for a new car. Had a BRZ which was sold due to being to small following our second daughter’s arrival. Now want something I can fit the family in (occasionally as have an SUV) and use for a few track days. Seem to have been distracted by lots of stuff that’s much more exciting!

Cheap 930 - http://tnydu.biz/DOvRX5
Nice SC - http://tnydu.biz/DOvRI3
Beautiful 328 - http://tnydu.biz/DOvQlB
Good value 997 GT3 (been for sale a while) - http://tnydu.biz/DOvKk4
997.2 becoming good value - http://tnydu.biz/DOvLSb
AC Cobra rep - http://tnydu.biz/DOuzOW
Realistically - Focus STs seem great value - http://tnydu.biz/DOusXp
Hatch STI has always appealed but hear the 2.5 has problems - http://tnydu.biz/DOu7rZ
May look at the newer WRX or wait until a decent E46 M3 comes up
