no offense, but.

I thought that only in the madness of the British classic car bubble one would consider the GT4, which with the Mondial is the worst Ferrari ever made. Please just look at it.

Each to their own, but one could have the following for less. Much less:

Can you please refrain from posting such cars when I am trying to be semi-sensible in choosing a motor for my single-status move to the UAE in the next week or two.

How am I supposed to focus on not turning up to the office, having negotiated my package based on schooling and housing cash requirements, in a loud, red, pony-car.

Must be sensible, must be sensible....

Thankfully, anything between 355 and 458 I'm not a fan of.

Probably because, in the years of their manufacture I was based in Dubai and all you ever saw were Lebanese Estate Agents driving around in them, by the thousand.

That 348 is very tempting.

Noel might sell his 348, and there is a cheaper black one at the dealers

A quick trip to colourglo and a proper clean and this looks nice..

I drove on with an updated gearbox ECU and it was really quite nice..

No offense taken.

Personally, I love the look of it.

I'm somewhat put-off by the multi-colour dashboard. Has that had a partial re-trim in SHJ?

I wonder what the 612 is like as a daily drive?

The silver isn't an issue... the fact it's a coupe not a convertible and F1 not manual kills it for me... and then we get to that interior... dear god, my eyes!

Nice at the time but will be superfluous when the new RRS coupe comes out.

Oh dear. Just landed back in the UAE from my 3 year sabbatical in KSA and thought I would re-visit the old F-Type R/Evora search.... Distracted a little by an R8 V10, then this pops up in budget and I find myself watching all the youtube videos...

Anyone have any UAE ownership experiences to share? I think I want it very badly...

I've owned 2*12C (approx 47k km between the 2 cars) and am currently 12k km into a 650S. Probably also (partly) responsible for a few of the Dubai guys currently owning their cars. I'm more than happy to chat over a coffee or beer if you think it would help, PM me if you wish.

I don't know the history of the car you link to but it does appear to have been for sale for a long time (years rather than months).

Very much appreciate the offer for me to buy you a beer smile

I will hold back until I have my residence visa, and have to go to the UK for a week in 2 weeks time, but in 3 weeks I might well take you up on that.

Heart is still ruling the head at the moment... I should really buy that used Evora S for loads less, no deposit and warranty for my daily driver. 12C as a daily is the real question here, loads of guys say it can be done, but is it really viable?

From what I understand, and I would hope its the same in the UK, but any car up to 7? years old, you can add a 1 year warranty for about 3500 GBP.
