So....I got a little excited last week and bought a 1994 Lancia Integrale EVO 2 Giallo Ginestra (Yellow) Excellent condition and pretty much standard.

Sadly however the car will have to stay in the UK at my brothers so it can be serviced at a proper dealer to retain its value. (Which seems to be going up of late). The thought of bringing it over here and subjecting it to the back street pimps in Al Quoz for work would feel too much like taking a prom queen to York Hotel in Deira.

Anyway, thought I would share the news. I am excited and haven't really told anyone ! : )

...and yes...I already changed the yellow steering wheel to a standard black one! : ) Looked a bit "Halfords" with the yellow one.

Dribble

I used to call to Walkers alot and even 10 years ago I was amazed how far people traveled to have them serviced and the price for minters.

I guess yours is from 4 star classics

Aye, was the one at 4 Star.

I spoke to Walkers, Tanc Barrett, Auto Integrale, the usual suspects you know, however none of them had one. I had this one checked by Tanc Barrett, to be sure it was everything it said it was. Luckily it was. Have to fit a new cambelt which is par for the course on these, and a few other things, but generally speaking its pretty damn clean and one of the nicest ones my brother had seen.

Just cant wait to get back to the UK in October to get to grips with some turbo lag! : ) Ahhh, I miss a bit of turbo lag. : ) Renault 5 GT Turbo days eh! : )

This one only has 78,000 kms and Full Service History, so happy with that.

Still have mine. One of the greatest cars ever made.

Never sell it.

Aye, no plans to sell it for many year. Is at Auto Integrale having service today. My brother will be using it for the time being. There is a meet in the UK this Oct so planning to go back for it.

Kept this one under the radar. Haven't really told anyone.....but had to, I was so excited about it.

Vanquish is up for sale next week and its project 911.

Lovely looking car, that. Some great cars at 4 Star but they're not shy about their pricing. Was the £20k scirocco there when you went?

I also accidentally bought a Lancia this summer but am more foolish than you, it's already on the boat and should be here mid-Sept!

I didn't actually see the car, just loads of pikkies and videos. My brother saw. The car and I got Tanc Barrett to check the car for me, which was good enough for me. Agree withyou on tthe prices... They are damn high.... Luckily I managed to negotiate to a reasonable price.

That lancia is lovely mate, let me know when it's here, would love to see it. Where you gonna service it? There aren't any specialists here eh.

The boat is due 11 Sept - expecting a bit of to-ing and fro-ing to get through the test but hopefully should be on the road by the end of next month. No rush though, no AC so it's going to be a winter car.

Haven't got anyone lined up yet for servicing. Planning to do basic spannering myself and if anything serious breaks I shall have to use Omicron's courier service!

Will post some more pics when it arrives - you are very welcome to come for a spin.
