DXBTiger - thanks!

Friday mornings are best for me also (and the peace of family life since would be back and still be able to do all the 'family time/errands' etc

There are quite a few cars going up this Friday morning (4 November) if anyone would like to join.

I'd be up for something like this soon. If I can ever get the car back from garage. More than a little frustrating when I only got it last bloody week.

Sounds goods and may be able to make it depending on timing.

What time/departure point are people leaving from?

Drop me an email through my profile if easier.

Cheers :-)

Guys you would all be very welcome. I am heading up for 06:30, but there is another group meeting at the Dubai Autodrome at 13:00 and leaving from there. Search "Exotic Street Stars" on Facebook to register for the afternoon group. Morning group is just some unorganized clowns!

I have a charity golf day tomorrow, won't be in a fit state to drive for the early meet and have to fly to Cairo for 24 hours in the evening frown

Man up, we will all have stinking hangovers.

Hi all

Unfortunately I am out of tomorrow morning - wife is unwell so I am taking the kids out. Much as they (seem!) to like cars, I am not sure they would tolerate a 5 hour round trip!

Have fun

Guys,

Heading back out to Dubai, in 2 weeks, done Jebel Hafeet, but want to do Jebel Jais this time around. Thinking of renting another 458.

I did Jebel Hafeet on Friday morning, left Dubai Marina at 0930. Traffic was light. I have heard Jebel Jais gets busy, any recommendations of which day is best to head up there? Or is it just too busy to enjoy?

Any help is appreciated.
Ta.

I'd avoid Fridays and Saturdays if you have a choice, if you don't have a choice then the earlier you are the less likely you are to encounter heavy traffic. I did hear that there was a police presence there a couple of Friday mornings back (which I guess had to happen sooner or later) so may be worth a more sedate, sighting run first if you do go at the weekend.

Thanks Jerry. I'm flexible and can go on any day really, any recommendations? Doesn't sound good about the police though, sighting run sounds sensible, it's what I do in certain parts of Wales.

I may be heading up there mid week next week, I shall report back.
