Hi All, we need to go to Berlin imminently. Can anyone suggest good places to eat please? Grills / fish are a good call.

We speak little German between us, so out of courtesy to the restaurant we may avoid it.

Thanks for this. We've just got back from Berlin, having had a great time.

Grill Royal was excellent. Great food, ambiance and wine.

Borchardts I suspect is very good. But they kept us waiting an hour for our table, served the white wine too warm and generally provided crap service. I did of course educate them about their shortcomings. I will try it again when I return - which I hope will be soon, because I really liked Berlin and its people.

smile glad I could help. Borchardts can be a weird place and it suffers from it's popularity I'm afraid. Glad you liked Berlin.
