This weekend is the annual Dubai 24hr race that is held at the Dubai Autodrome, entry is free. I am not assisting a team this year as I will be in Bahrain running MSK Racing in the Bahrain drag and track championships.

Good day out. It's crazy how few people go to events like this. Grand stand was near empty at one point.

Few amateur photos of the day below, I plan on heading back around sun-rise.

Never knew there was drag racing in Bahrain, I'm supposed to be heading there on Sunday, might try and postpone a few days.

I went for the start and it was pretty busy then (well for DA). Grandstand was about half full if not more.

Stayed for a while and really enjoyed it.

Good photos you got!

I arrived a couple of hours after the start, which probably explains it. I was also back to see them at sunrise.

I've got two memory cards full to sift through.

There is also the Emirates Drift Championship at Ras al Khaima next week, not sure if the OH will let me get away with two weekends worth of Motorsport.

Does anyone know what the deal was with the barriers around the back so you could not get through had to park and take a shuttle bus rather than drive up as in previous years?
