Kit Car Registration Abu Dhabi

Afternoon all,

I’m looking to build an Ultima in Abu Dhabi but somewhat worried about the registration once it’s complete.

Has anyone had any experience in this, or know someone that has?

There are a couple of road legal ultima’s in dubai. Built at a time when these things were harder to do so the title may not be wholly legit.

Is your query related specifically to the ultima or kit cars in general? There are plenty of fully legit cobra reps about, and I can put you in touch with the guy who does technical inspections for modified vehicles in AD.

As with everything here, it’s not straight forward but it’s possible.

I know that one of those Ultimas has "التيما" on its registration card, hence how it was so 'easy' to get registered
