Watching the Ginetta Juniors, Sophia put in an epic race, held off the challenges and kept the pro's at bay. Her performance and defending must have been from her background in karting but to defend so well it was amazing. For sure she is destined for a prosperous future in motorsport.

Simply by chance I happened to flick the telly on in time to watch this.

The Ginetta Juniors are shaping up to be the most exciting race series of all this year. At Donington any one of 5 cars could have won the race on the last lap. And now the same again at Thruxton.

Sophia Floersch is a star on the rise. Amazing drive. But to be honest, motorsport is in rude health; she's just one of several amazing young talents driving in Ginetta's this year.

Absolutely amazed by the talent Sophia showed this weekend. After all those safety car moments that kept bunching up the field every time she tried to gap the others and yet to still drive so well under so much pressure, I was screaming at the tv willing her on. Truly impressed, my driver of the weekend although Aaron Smith's save when he got a puncture in that sleek black VW was impressive.

Can't wait for June to watch the BTCC when it comes to my local track Oulton Park.

I was at Thruxton and saw the race live , I also listened to the comments being made in the pits by some very senior members of the big teams not just Ginetta teams , and she has certainly opened some eyes. If she continues like this she may well attract the attention of Red Bulls academy and good luck to her.

Continues to impress - this girl is a real racer, she had a terrific scrap at Croft and was holding off huge pressure from behind. Deffo one to watch.

It's the only racing I watch now, found it on the UK Motorsports program.

Everything else seems boring in comparison.
