Rounds 3 & 4 of the Texaco Havoline Ginetta Championship are this weekend (5th/6th April) at Cadwell Park and Team PH will be there again in force.

The timetable has come through and we will be testing on the Saturday (which is free entry for anyone who wants to pop down and help) and racing and qualifying on the Sunday.

For anyone thinking of passing and saying hello, or coming down for the 50th anniversary celebrations at Cadwell Park the timetable is such for the Team PH:

Saturday
Session Event Mins Start Finish
2 Practice 1 25mins 09:35 10:00
7 Practice 2 25mins 12:30 12:55
12 Practice 3 25mins 15:50 16:25

Sunday
Session Event Mins Start Finish
3 Qualofying 20mins 10:10 10:30
9 Race 1 20mins 14:15 14:35
13 Race 2 20mins 17:00 17:20

Also there will be the lovely looking G50s racing, Juniors, and some other classic Ginettas.

Qualofying...
If you had mis-typed it as qualflying I could have understood the connection with The Mountainwink

See you at the weekend!

Pete,
I'll be there racing in the club championship (given the main championship a miss due to working on a GT project for next year) so will come and say hi!
Any chance of putting up the dates for the club championship and sticky it?
They are:

4th/5th April - Cadwell Park, Lincolnshire
3rd/4th May – Snetterton, Norfolk
5th/6th July – Anglesey, Wales
9th/10th August – Silverstone, Northamptonshire
6th/7th September – Mallory Park, Leicestershire
4th/5th October – Lydden Hill, Kent
25th/26th October – Brands Hatch, Kent

See you at the weekend - snow is forecast for Sunday! Should be fun!!!!! smile

I love snow!!! Reminds me of growing up in Yorkshire driving around in a Metro 1.4 trying to keep it out of snow banks. smile

If you start a new topic in this forum with the dates then I will sticky it at the top for you.

What else does a Metro 1.4 remind you of?

Well Cadwell was interesting today - sunshine, wind, rain and hail!

Well worth coming along tomorrow as there is a very good entry for the races - but I suggest warm clothing!

Today - Sunday - and for the most the weather was nice - just the odd hail shower!

I'll leave it for RacingPete to give the race report.

I would highly recommend coming along to future meeting. Racingpete is a really nice guy and not that bad a driver either!

The whole Ginetta crowd are a very nice bunch. No one know me but everyone was very pleasant and helpful - so don't be afraid to go and help out - even if you only get the coffee you will be made very welcome!

If anyone is thinking of joining the Ginetta series I would recommend it. It is well presented, well supported and as I said they are a nice bunch!

Ben (20thebear) very nice to meet you, if other PH people came along sorry if I missed you.

If anyone is close enough to Knockhill to get along and help out I'm sure Racingpete would be grateful - and you will have a great day out.

If you have only been a spectator before then helping out with a race car/being part of the 'team' is so much better, makes the day more complete.

Come on Pete, where are the pictures? Spill the beans to everyone

Another great weekend helping out with Team PH. Steve it was great to meet you. I hope a few of your wise words have sunk in. I can now add a few more skills to my list of abilities. Chief Duck Tapper being one of them.

I can only support Steve in saying that helping out a team makes a day out so much more fun. You really feel part of the day and the other racers and mechanics are very very friendly. If you are able to get to Knockhill next weekend I think Pete would love some help. Unfortunatley I will not be able to make it. I don't think the misses would let me miss her running the London Marathon. But I will be back to help at Croft.
