Suppose it's time I added my bit to this thread.

The whole atmosphere was very good, everyone was very friendly, the paddock had a nice 'clubby' feeling to it but the meeting was run very well.
Big thanks to all the orange guys & gays and the officials for their help.

As any racers will know, you have to get the scrutineer to ok the repairs so you can race - he came over and was and very helpful.
Other drivers came and offered glassfibre repair stuff and mechanical help.

The first G20 race was a bit of a non event - well apart from RP's climb from 22nd to 10th in 3/4 racing laps!

The second was a cracker. How the two McCarthy brothers (and everyone else) missed each other on The Mountain I don't know.
RP's fight back had many people, not only us, cheering him on.
11th was poor reward for a very good drive - if he'd not spun (on the black stuff!) it would have been an easy 10th and maybe 9th.

As I said on the other thread
linky

If you are even just slightly interest in cars, come along, get involved and you will have so much more fun than 'just' watching.
You don't have to do anything, just being there is a big help - and Racingpetes Mum makes a mean cheese & pickle sandwich!

One word of warning thou' - I thought I'd kicked this drug - seems not, as I'm now looking at getting to Snett/ Silverstone/Mallory and Donny! BH looks a slight possibility as well.

Not come up to Knockhill then? Forgot the passport at the border? Made a trip up to see what's what in the tvrolet [kind of grown-up Ginetta biglaugh] and it wasn't half cold...and wet on the way back home.

yes up at knockhill. Left London at 8.30 this morning and arrived around 6pm. My nose has just stopped bleeding from the northern-ness smile

Just sitting in a pub with the track notes looking at how to drive round the track. Can't wait, looks a great little track!
