Being new on this forum, if anyone from PistonHeads would like to come along and get a close up look at a G50, please feel free to call in on Team GCR, Tom Dunstan and Car No. 5. at Croft next weekend.

It's the only green one!

After Tom's big shunt at Knockhill, we are optimistic that it will all be straightened out and ready to go.

I saw the shunt on you tube. Felt sorry for you. Hope you get it sorted. See you at Croft.

Just watched the shunt too on YouTube... shows my ignorance of the weekend, didnt even know that had happened.

Good luck with getting the car ready for Croft thumbup

Spencer, I have a few hi-res images of you (and your brother) from Knockhill from our resident photographer if you would like me to burn onto CD for you?

Latest news is the chassis was returned this morning, and Tom started work re-assembling it all. The remainder of the parts should arrive tomorrow morning (fingers crossed) and the body panels should arrive on Wednesday. Just time to load it onto the trailer and drive up to Croft!

Fingers crossed that it's all back together in time - seems a common theme with G50's at the moment being as much a race with the spanners as it is a race on tarmac! If ever you need a hand with anything then always feel free to shout - enthusiasm and a helping hand always available and i'll have spare crew available at Croft so will undoubtedly be looking to bother someone else unless they're too busy laughing at the repairs I've done in the last 2 weeks!

is there a way of sharing photos on here.

I was at croft on saturday taking pics, the rain held of till the G50s came out then it poured, took a lot of guts for your boy to go out in the conditions after the last round, good luck for the rest of the season, hope they come to croft again, a very good show.

There is a guide on how to show the pictures... click here for the guide

Hopefully you got some good photos, and I was very impressed with Tom's 5th in the second race in the rain... glad all the hard work rebuilding the car paid off. smile

Many thanks for that Ripley. It was quite scary for us watching, let alone driving! Tom thoroughly enjoyed it, especially getting from 10th on the grid to fifth by the end.

Had a look at your web site and photos. Very interesting style. It reminded me of an artist we know who supports Tom. His web site can be found at www.davidburk.net

If you're about when we're racing again, please call by and say hi.
