MSV Team Trophy & Trackday Trophy 2014
Discussion
Gents,
Just had my car tested up at Advanced Motorsports today for Sundays Team Trophy race. What sort of results have you had on their dyno as 20 of my horse powers seem to have escaped! I had my car dyno'd at TDI and JAMSport last year, each within 5%. I dont understand unless somehow my car was tested on the wrong map! Itll mean that ill drop from Class B to Class C.

Poor grid sizes at Brands too!
17 in TDT and 16 in TT.
I can see them all being on one grid next year if they don't do something about it.
They've sorted the power to weight policing now so really they just need to tighten up on driving standards and drop the entry fees a little then it can get back to being the successful series it once was.

There wasnt much wrong with driving standards in TT on Sunday. We got weighed twice and power tested. I must admit we were 1bhp over our declared power but we were also 28kg overweight!!!17 in TDT and 16 in TT.

Same experience my car has dropped from a consistent 190bhp for the last 2 seasons, down to 166bhp with no noticable difference in performance, was trying to tune her to sit at the top of Class B, we're now in middle Class C.Just had my car tested up at Advanced Motorsports today for Sundays Team Trophy race. Hi Bazz, not done yet, but just a skim, and new rods, rings and liners to get it back to standard power. Sticking to original equipment 968 pistons - I don't want to move up to class E in Intermarque. Andy hasn't rebuilt it yet, so still only 190bhp @ wheels in last weekend's Oulton AMOC race, and happy with 1.57.1. So hoping the work might move me up to class A in MSV TT, and get me closer to the other 968 in AMOC, but we'll see. If it's only just in A then I'll ballast to stay in B. Anyway, Andy has it all to do before next month's MSV Silverstone GP, so he will be busy from now on!
