I have just read in this weeks Autosport that one of the most iconic names in UK club racing history is returning to the sport as sponsor of the 2018 CSCC Special Saloons and Modsports series. Welcome back Wendy Wools.

In the 1970s and 80s Special & Super Saloons, and Modsports cars were amongst the most visually impressive cars in UK motorsport. Wendy Wools sponsored the Special Saloons series for many years and for many people, Wendy Wools and Special Saloons go hand in hand. It's great to see them back supporting the CSCCs, revival series.

Thanks for posting the video, good to see the mini and Imp/ Stilletos battling for third, too. Be good to get a few more of the smaller engined cars out , maybe a few mini miglias could join in and the Modsports MG Midgets that are still around.

Love watching Modsports when shareing a race weekend. At circuits like Thruxton and Combe, I suspect most of the people are there to watch them. It is a shame they cant run unsilenced as some of the motors are lovely sounding.

I shared a grid with Ian and his Alfa Romeo at Festival Italia. All the Ferraris there were embarised when he beat them all in both races and kept asking him what engine he had in it!
