Hey ho
Done and dusted anyway, P1 in the championship. My 4th in 6 seasons racing, not a bad ratio!

WTF?

I've not experienced anything like this before, we are normally a bunch that manages to keep it clean, so I am concerned that this puts the championship in a negative light. But I always share footage and this is the most "interesting" stuff that happened.
It is what it is, I'm not going to start slagging anyone off. People can watch and decide for themselves.
I think the pass I tried to make into the first corner was probably a bit late, not that it ended up with any major contact, but I can't really find myself to blame in any of the other stuff.

Reminds me of a trackday I did at Rockingham a few years ago after I retired from superkarts that had quite a few Radicals in attendance.......by lunchtime most had smashed theirs up and I almost had the track to myself the rest of the day but it did put me off buying the bike engined car I had already put a deposit on....for the life of me I can't remeber the make now but it had a rounded tub and had it's own race series for a while.

That move through McLeans and then deliberately pushing you off between there and Coppice was ridiculously poor drivingIt is what it is, I'm not going to start slagging anyone off. People can watch and decide for themselves.

Amazed he wasn't reported to COC for that
Also surprised it seem's hes a series regular, i's assumed it was a one off race or something

I think the race commentator said before the 2nd race that the COC looked at the first race but no action was taken. A moment of madness in one race is bad enough. But two races over two days!?
Cant even check, unfortunately 750 take the judicials down about 24 hours after each event. SpudLink said:

I'd have complained, even on the footage we saw in those two short clips he was closing the door on passing cars and barging. What a dick.
They looked at my footage from race 1 and did nothing with it. Only one incident (which was more than a bad enough) was reported and that's the one they looked at. Even though I made the clerk watch everything he did nothing with it.
They didn't do anything about the race 2 incident. I didn't report it, just wanted to go home, but it was all over the live stream, as was everything from race 1.
There were incidents with multiple cars and this one driver not just me. It's been twisted into a bit of a me Vs him thing but everyone's pissed about it.

I would expect the club to be all over it - one thing that puts prospective drivers off is the possibility of some arse costing you unnecessary money in repairs.
We left a series (not a 750 series) and a club because certain people seemed 'above the law' and had the opinion that BTCC rules were OK in club racing.

The safety car brake testing TWICE and subsequent pileup, the McLean's incident and him taking himself and another car out into the chicane which put me back in front.
The only looked into the McLean's one, even though I made damn sure they sat there and watched it all.
He got two points for that, for inappropriate use of right hand down throughout the incident, then somehow appealed it, without my involvement and won. The 2 points was a bad joke, as I've had more than that for minor infringements, but the fact he appealed it and it was upheld, AND the other two acts of disgraceful driving weren't dealt with, is a absolute shambles.
He got a talking to, then on Sunday, jumped the start and did it again when I tried to pass into the chicane, full along side and side swiped.
I don't expect people to roll out the red carpet and let me past but there is an art to racing, he leaves gaps wide open then seems shocked someone tried to occupy it and rams into them.
There was racing with other competitors that was clean and fair, I was overtaken into into the Melbourne loop here, the driver knew he wasn't going to go around the outside of me into the chicane but he compromised my line into it knowing I'd be slow through it and slow to exit earning an opportunity would come on exit. That is text book race craft. Most moves are carefully crafted and setup before they happen. The same goes for safe defenses.
A narrative has tried to be created that I don't like hard racing which is absolute b

Here's how it's actually done.. granted I knew he had a 5s penalty and I was a bit fed up by this point, but this is racing. The other videos I've showed are nothing of the sort.
