Can anyone recommend anywhere that refurbishes dampers? Mine badly need attention, but the manufacturer, whilst very friendly, are taking months to reply to e-mails and I'm worried that if I send my dampers off it'll also take months to get them back and I'll miss pre-season testing. They're made by 'Oram'. Thanks.

Maybe try Meteor Motorsport? No direct experience of them personally and I only know of them via their sponsorship of the CSCC Open Series last year.

Send them back to the manufacture. They can usually re-valve if you know what you want.

Oram are an Italian damper manufacturer, but they have a German department as well, so you may have the choice of relaxed Italy or ruthless and efficient Germany to talk to.

Thanks Andrew, I'll e-mail their German branch. Koni UK are getting back to me to see if they can do them.

Rob, give Aurok a call (www.aurok.com) - They're an ohlins distributor but are happy servicing other brands. By chance, they're also relatively near to you.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm awaiting a reply from Koni, but if they don't get back to me then I will definitely contact those people.

If it's just a service, oil, gas, seals, etc - I can probably do it if you get really stuck.

Just an update for anyone looking for future recommendations. I sent my dampers to IG Racing in the end. Jerry's right, he's clearly very busy (a good sign!) and it took a while to do them, but I got them back yesterday and they're all done and packaged extremely well in his own box. Obviously I can't report back on any differences until I've driven the car next Friday, but all looks good so far and I'm very pleased. I'm expecting to notice a difference, as they were in a pretty bad way beforehand!
