Not long now! This will be my first time at Spa, so I'm pretty excited. This will be the first time my driving partner and I go head-to-head in our own cars too, so that's just adding to the pre-race banter rotate

So who else is booked in?

Hi Rich. Didn't know you lurked here also smile

Taking the delta and hoping to do more than 7 laps this year.

There are three of us leaving early Wednesday morning from Aylesbury in convoy if you want to join?

Lurking is mostly the right word laugh

I'm helping out at a kids Formula Goblin event on the Wednesday, so am travelling over on Thursday so will see you there! Good idea on the convoy though. Hoping your luck changes for this one mate!!

I remember you well Simon. Do you still have your Capri?

The Track Marshall Capri was my white capri that we ran at Spa in 1997. I think 1997 may have been the first year that Skid ran his Auto Plan ex Gerry Marshall Capri. It was the weekend of Princess Diana's funeral.

Yes Howard, same Capri, should be out in it this year after a long break. Will do a few Classic Thunder races.

Hopefully not, I am hoping for downpours when we are out for obvious reasons!

Can't wait, I'll be there, in the CSCC Inter Series. Done Silverstone and Snett so far this year in my Bright green E36 328.

I'm also hoping for rain, as i'm very down on power compared to all the M3s & Porshes in my class!

I was at Spa in 2016 whe rain caused mayhem, was good for me though, well apart from visability! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACvMoNB5i8s

A good few PH'ers going then by the looks of it!

For a Spa (driving) virgin, is there decent fuel on site? I notice there's Shell garages in Spa and Malmedy...

fuel in the lower paddock a few meters from where we will be camped. a couple of euro dearer than the garages about so not worth worrying about. that,s not to say that it,s not blooming expensive any where you go lol.

Been an open cockpit I want blazing Sun in the 80,s like last year would be spot on.

Nice BMW in that green I was in your race at Silverstone but can,t remember seeing your car, look forward to seeing it in foreign climes.

We (Rassler Racing) will be there with your Mazda RX7 (CSCC Inter-Series & Spa 1 Hour) and the '65 Mustang (Spa 3 Hours). Can't wait, had such a good time last year that this year will have a lot to live up to... (Photos by AMPaquete)

Just looked at the provisional entry lists for the Spa One Hour and the Ardennes Challenge and they are looking rather on the light side. There is still a bit of time to go before the event but I would have expected them to be more popular.

Thanks is a boring road car blue under the shiney new wrap!

I was in the Modern Classics not Future Classics at Silverstone, although checking fastest laps in the races on TSL there isn't much between us! and checking 2016's results Spa results again pretty close on best laps! So could be seeing each other up close, well apart from down the kimmel straight where i'll be the green dot way back in your mirror!!

TheMakipaa, I don't think any CSCC entries have been added yet, so when they come in I expect that'll boost the grid numbers significantly. Last time i raced in the Ardennes Challenge it was a 60+ car grid at Spa

Ah, fair enough - makes sense if the entries are missing all the CSCC ones for now. We did the Ardennes Challenge last year and it was busy. Was getting concerned their entry numbers were down..
