Most of us from the UK were in the CSCC Inter Series (including me), Sports v Saloons or the Spa One Hour. A special few were also in the 3 hour.
My weekend:
Qualified: 7th overall, 2nd in class. Managed a 2:52.3 (according to the track timer).
Race 1: 6th overall, 2nd in class.
Race 2: 7th overall, 2nd in class.
Great battle with Tommo Two in Race 1 which he won. Wasn't really fair though as the saftey car bunched us all up and I was miles behind when it came out. Didn't see much of Rassler on track as they span out and then had turbo issues . Also swapped places with 77 Racing but the TVR soon zoomed off in to the distance.
I dont know if this will work as the videos are scheduled for release over the next few days... here it goes anyway:

Great vids Thurbs Glad the car now seems to be sorted.
I had a great first time driving/racing at Spa! What a circuit and it completely lived up to the hype and I had a lot of fun racing it. Unfortunately my 951 only just survived race 1, as it suffered ring or bore failure on no.1 (to be fair, the rings and bores have done 120k miles with the last 6k being very hard). But my racing partner offered me a seat in his Civic for race 2.
I finished 18th both days, which was better than I expected. Will hopefully pull the motor out of the car on Sunday ready for a sleeve and full build. I just need to resist my urges to go 16v now!!
A vid of my best lap which was in qualifying, tidy but there's a lot more to come from me and the car... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5faNMfv0N74
Very clean racing both days and everyone did well to dodge the Smart cars!..

We also filled the CSCC Classic grids and the CSCC Sevens and Millennium races. A third of the 3 Hours grid were CSCC entries too, including me! I was very glad it stayed cool and dry for my experience racing a 60s car on Dunlops, I really enjoyed my middle hour stint. [quote=Thurbs]Results are all here:

Great Vids Thurbs, was a great weekend.
Only posted my videos on FB in a very poor format!
First lap from me bit of contact at the end of the straight, not to much damage, got a way quite lightly.

and the safety car restart at the end of race 1:

You can spot the point in your vid that i see you in my mirrors rapidly gaining on me down the straight, and have to defend! Good racing close and clean
Qualified P11 and finished P5 in both races, I was well chuffed with that result and fastest pitstop in both races! Can't help feeling that I need a few more HPs though, as i'm somewhat vulnerable on the long straights

Can we go back to Spa, please, can we?
Mind you, it wasn't really the best weekend for us. As Richard said, we were suffering from some seriously lacking boost with the turbo and between every race there was feverish activity trying to get it to hold it's s**t together long enough to do the next one. The boys didn't do too badly though as (ignoring the first CSCC Inter-Series race where we had to bow out) the boys pedalled an overall 3rd and 1st in Class in the Spa One Hour and then Overall 22nd and 3rd in Class in the second CSCC Inter-Series race. Could have been sooooo much better though had the car been running as usual - really missed the whistle of the turbo..
That wasn't even the worst of it though as the engine in our Mustang (we were registered for the 3 Hours with it, did it last year and loved it) blew up in practice on Thursday. Not the best start to the weekend and for me it was pretty devastating - I love that car more than anything. And I mean anything.
But hey, we were at Spa and it's hard not to enjoy that place so it wasn't all bad.
Our videos are here:
1st CSCC Inter-Series race: https://youtu.be/LsFvtL1sDbw
Includes a nice little spineroonie on the first lap
2nd CSCC Inter-Series race: https://youtu.be/HLzAYijWRIE
Spa ONE Hour: https://youtu.be/LGaFhv8ox80
Amazing race, our Mazda and the Blake's Porsche were locked in an epic duel for the second half of the race
