I wish I'd registered for tonights scrutineering. I'm just going through check list and trying not to forget anything. I've managed to persuade ARM to take my wets and jack over as I'm driving the 10 miles from home to Watergate. I'm hoping that by actually taking wets with me, sods law will step in and it'll stay dry!

Anyway, safe trip down.

Look forward to it. Weather looks decent: hopefully no rain. I'll be marshaling/ whatever they get me to do. Bed time now!

It all went pretty well. The weather was good yesterday: looks a bit damp today. Lots of spectators. It ran reasonably smoothly, with a few delays so it ran a little late. Competitors seem to like it: the surface is reasonably grippy, but the ruts/crown of the road make for a bit of tram lining and twitchy moments. quickest times were just under 25 seconds, with the slower road going classes a bit over 30 seconds.

The view from near the top (next to post 10) was quite nice smile There are a series of blind crests as it opens up towards end of the course, with the number of "confidence" lifts decreaseing as the day progressed.

There were a few trade stands, and there is plenty of space around the the top of the hill that could be expanded into for future events.

I imagine there were quite a few familiar faces from St.Gueuno at Watergate. The reports from our guys who raced there over the weekend (Europa + 7HPC) were very positive.

I really enjoyed it, although there were definitely a few teething problems. The finish line was pretty hard to spot and there were a couple of close calls early on. There were some great cars and good to meet a few PHers.
