Lots of information out there.
Look at HRCR clubmans championship, or if your budget is a bit larger HERO events.

What is it that you want to know?, I’ve been in the game for 13 years, are you looking to drive or navigate?. Do you already have a Car?

Velocemitch, looks like you drive my favorite marque :-).....Gotta love those Alfa's.

I would love to do the HERO events but they are a tad pricey for me lol.

If i can find events i can sort a car out but i fancy a bit of navigating too. I will be on the navigators training this sept ( HERO).

I started out driving ( using The Alfa’s) but turned to navigating after four years as my Cars were both pretty knackered and needed rebuilding.
I’ve not looked back, as a Navigator on regularity rallies, you are in charge, you make the difference, only in the top five or perhaps top ten will the drivers input effect the result in any real way (unless they crash of course!).
An accomplished Navigator would not be short of rides, there are always people looking for one and many are wealthy enough not to be too worried about the nav paying a great deal towards it.
Aside from Historics there are also Vintage Rallies, 12 Cars, Targa Rallies and Road Rallies with drivers always looking for somebody to sit in the silly seat. If I had the time I could be out practically every weekend.

Funnily enough... I have an Alfa, I’m also in Bucks, and thinking about starting rallying to reduce the time and cost spent racing. Could do with a navigator!

Feel free to drop me a line.

Get in touch with your local motor club, dependent upon where you are in Bucks, this maybe your closest one.
http://www.thamemotorsportclub.org.uk/

I’m in it, there’s only a few of us, although we are always happy to see new faces, and we are mainly Aylesbury based. Sadly, it was club night last night, but the next one is August 12th. We meet at Seven Stars in Dinton. http://www.sevenstarsdinton.com/ kicking off at 8pm.

One of the guys is organising a regularity right now, I don't know when it is though - and its always an issue getting the numbers up. PM me for more details, and I'll pass on the chaps name.
Hopefully, this could be up your street.

That looks like an excellent taster for Historic Rallying.

Definitely the HRCR for this sort of thing, and Bucks has an active centre with monthly meets.
