Am I the only one who is finding this thread hard worK?

With a little more explanation by the OP from the outset, and a lot of the questions being asked could have been avoided and possibly more targeted advice offered.

Its a problem relating to cold temperatures, so the OP is presumably removing the battery each night and presumably taking it indoors.

I think if it were me I'd be buying a replacement battery and then seeking refund for the faulty one, just to get things moving.

Yes, I agree! Doesn't have to be though, does it:

Q - Are quick release battery restraints available?

Ans - Yes/No

If Yes = provide link if feeling generous
If No = type no / offer an alternative / don't respond!

Elsewhere on PH someone was asked for 'evidence' to substantiate their request for recommendations for a new webcam for zoom type meetings.

GOOD GRIEF!

Sorry, I was under the impression that no one on here actually owes you anything. I thought that if someone makes a request, and get asked reasonable questions in return that it is only fair to answer them since these people are trying to help.

Are you on some kind of premium service where you can act like a paying customer?

To be honest, I was thinking more along the lines of:

I have a (insert make/model of vehicle)

The battery keeps going flat because (insert reason)

I can/cannot charge it in situ because ....

I want a quick detachable method of securing it any suggestions please?

Just fit a battery which isn’t faulty. Why make things so unnecessarily hard for yourself.
