Race truck insurance recommendation

Just wanted to recommend a broker I just used.

Anthony D Evans insurance.

I spent all day yesterday getting royally messed about trying to insure my 6.5T iveco race van, it seemed to either be a story of "we only insure up to 3.5T", or "we only insure HGV for commercial use, not personal use".

I did speak to a couple that advertise to do race van/truck insurance who never got back to me.

On the recommendation of a friend I called Anthony D Evans this morning and was insured in 10 minutes, very reasonable premium with everything I needed and completely understood the vehicles use.

Just if anyone else is having similar struggles, hope this is of some help!

I sold mine a year or so ago but up until then always used four counties insurance.

They seemed to have an equestrian background so understood policies for private 7.5t trucks with low millage, I think my premium was under £300 a year.

We use them for our horsebox - have always been very helpful and reasonably priced.
Now insure one of the cars with them too.
