How to apply tearoffs without bubbles...

Got an OMP GP8 helmet.
Bought their tearoffs, mainly to protect the iridium visor, as i've already got a tiny chip in it from debris whilst karting.

Finding it impossible to apply without getting loads of bubbles showing....

anyone got any tips?

Not tear-offs, but for self-adhesive stickers we use a bit of soapy water which makes it easy to reposition and then a rubber/silicon edged squeegee to remove any bubbles.
