dont discount an R50 mini.

They are great handling cars

I have no idea what an R50 Mini is, I should remind you I am a proper old school Mini man so driving a "German" would be like cheating.

R50 - First of the 'new' Minis from 2001-2006.

R50 is the One/Cooper hatchback
R52 is the convertible
R53 is the Supercharged S

R50s are great handling cars, and fairly easy to get weight out of them and power to about 140-150bhp

Not a scratch on a 1600cc Honda civic, but still something I'd at least consider.

Sadly this is a standard road car class, modification is not an aspect
