It was parked up opposite us in the CSCC paddock at Donington and raced in the Modsports race.

It's an incredible car. Did it race at Donington, Dave? Any photos?
Sorry Steve, I'd not seen your post until now, few piccies from David Stallard here at the end of day Saturday: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/ClassicSpo...The rest are on Sunday: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/ClassicSpo...
The actual events of this accident are as follows:
Leading the race from pole position i quickly gapped the field and started catching the back markers after only several laps on the GP circuit. I was clocked through the speed trap at 176mph! On the lap of the accident i started to catch John King in his full lightweight DB5 complete with borrowed engine. As i went under the bridge on the GP circuit there was John's DB5 coming to rest and me doing 176mph hitting the entire oil contents from his blown engine. I was apassenger and bounced from armco to armco until the car came to rest down towards the following bend. Fortunately i was totally unmarked or injured, the same cannot be said for the Aston.
Later John admitted to changing from 4th at speed and finding 3rd instead of 5th and bought me lunch by way of apology! Of course being live on big screens it was replayed many, many times with family and friends not knowing if i would return!
