Is that a sequential box you have fitted? Interested in more details if yes.

Yes, it's a magnesium Gemini/Ricardo 6 speed sequential. Modified to run upsidedown. Electro-mechanic shift. I will post a better pic as soon as rain stops to put the car outdoor.
Cheers.

Thanks for the link but are they made for the ultimas? I wouldn't have a clue on how to fit them as i will be building the Ultima GTR myself unless it’s easy. Yes it will be my first build and I am a complete novice paperbag. The price of the seats are about the same so i will go with the one that looks the best.

Did you need a custom adaptor plate? how are the ratios? Is this a current box?

I have a G50 but looking at alternatives

Should be straight forward. Because the Ultima is Mid engine probably most suits a fairly upright seat.

This box is from a Porsche RSR so the adaptor plate is as for the G50. Not a current box. Ricardo sold all the production line to somebody in South Africa but I haven't no more info on this.
Ratios are similar to the G50 with a variation between 4th and 5th and then a taller 6th (overdrive)and taller final drive (crown/pinion). Not easy to fit due to the internal oil pump but I did it.
A good alternative could be the Mendeola new sequential. Not cheap but it looks the bussines.
Cheers,

The tillet price is each, the Ultima is for a pair. Alcontara Ultima seats are about £900 inc VAT for the pair, the tillet carbon are £900 each, twice the cost....

Suki,
Forget the Tillets if you're a tall guy. They leave you in a very good driving position but very close to a single seater mode, so you will be closer to the pedals than with the stock Ultima seats. Perfect for me but I'm just 173cm tall. Mines are Tillet B4.

Thanks mate,
This is my vision of what the Ultima GTR should be. She's a race car under a roadgoing look and I don`t understandt a luxury finish inside.

Thanks spatz,
Not really. I use it just for track days and the mandatory "Nurburgring annual" trip. New engine, gearbox and aero pack this year. Expect to be under my previous 8:48 (bridge to bridge) mark. wink

Hi Guys, I can confirm that the Tillets are definitely the not the right seats for tall people! I am 1.84m, and they were so narrow, that I couldn’t sit properly on them and my head was touching the roof… Javier’s car is amazing; it has all the checks on my wish list and it is extremely well built. clap
