Never had a thread named after me. I'm honoured. 
Why the GTR? I've had 2 Chimaeras for the last 6 years and have become very concience of what would happen if the car ended up on its roof. I rarely drove the TVR with the roof on and, believe me, over 140mph (on the track of course) it felt like it wants to immitate a Mercedes LeMans racer.
I love the shape of the true LeMans racers not these prototype things.
Third reason, I live in England! It rains.
At the Open Day last month I saw the CanAm and began wondering again. Then I remembered my first reason for having a roof.
Don't let me put you off going for the CanAm, its a fantastic car and AirCon isn't a necessity.
The factory recon on about 400 hours. I WILL have mine ready for LeMans next year. Fortunately I have friends who have offered to help me make a car a lot faster than theirs. There's friendship for you!
