Well I think it's fine to put it up.

Well mate. I chose the the wrong medium for sale and he was buying at the right one!!! Good luck to him. I wish he'd keep it coz he is a bit of a racer. But I guess a business man too.

BTW.....I know off topic. But, I swum the Channel yesterday.......13hrs 24mins. Without doubt the worst thing I've ever experienced. But done now.....smile

Thought you lot might like to know!!!

Pete
Doh! Completely forgot about this - well done mate, especially given your extensive (cough) training for it. Very impressive!

Thank you. it was quite easily the worst day of my life (apart from the getting back on the boat at the end)

Bruised tendons in my wrists, rock cuts from scrabbling onto them in france, sore shoulders.....but the water temperature at 15.4 degrees with just yer speedos and yer silicione hat!! Argghhhh!!!

Lucky P, knew I'd find you here - how is the RAMS testing going?!

Heard that you were swimming the channel on FB mate - congratulations! That must have been seriously tough.

I was reminiscing (and laughing at) some TGB moments with Sean Davis earlier.

Miss you mate.

Well done Pete. ALS is a shocking disease with not current treatment that has any major impact. Hopefully a treatment will be available in the near future.

Hey guy, thanks. Do you mean there is a cure on the horizon or something to slow down the onset of symptoms?

Unfortunately no cure but a chance to slow down the disease. I have a US colleague in Switzerland that i spoke to on a daily basis. Early 2011 he decided to go back to the US unannounced. He finished working in Switzerland in April (we still had no idea). He came over in July 2011 and it was shocking to see the progress. He can no longer, walk, use his hands and speak!
