My car just had whatever the "standard" rad was when the kit was originally bought. Looked like something off a Cortina 
It wasn't even ally.
The one I got from Alan Docking was originally made for one of his clients who was taking a Landy on the Paris-Dakar rally, so it should be able to cope. Just lucky that it was an almost perfect fit. We just had to weld on some new mounting brackets, and away we went.
It's about 8 times as effective as the original rad (which is nice).

PS. I'd guess that if Ultima know that you're sticking in a 545BHP lump, they wouldn't bother asking you which rad you wanted, just in case you came out with the wrong answer

Ultimapaul may have had an uprated rad as he has a GTR but mine is a late Sport so l have a slightly smaller rad, but an uprated engine 440 bhp allegedly. Normally OK but slow traffic in Le Mans in summer does rather test the system. Have now added a 10" fan to blow air across the oil cooler and the n/s manifold. Worked a treat until it melted the fuse. Ho hum, back to the drawing board.
l am interested in an aly rad though if anyone knows where one can be bought for peanuts.
