Are there any pictures out there with non-race type interiors? I am interested in creating my own interior but links to builds that have done this are few and far between. I've also looked for sites that have info on custom interiors but haven't found any. I'm interested in making my own composite dash and center column with various materials such as fiberglass (preferrably something else though), foam, leather, and mesh cloth.

Also, who has fitted seats other than the Ultima seats? I've heard that due to space constraints, these seats may be the only ones that fit... which is a pity since there are some really nice seats available.

Look at the post on Guy Thompson Ultima. It has several pics of the inside of a standard ultima. I should know as it is my car- but i did not take the pics

I've seen the two links above. Thanks for posting them though. I would like to push the interior further but I guess there most people like a more 'race' look.

bluesatin, nice car by the way. Did you build it? How long did it take you?

Try the Motordrive "HYBRID" seats. I have them on my GTR and go perfect. www.motordrive.com

Have a look at www.ultimaclub.com/for_sale.htm to see some pics of an 'alternative' interior.

The great thing about Ultimas is that you can create whatever interior you want!

PS. Javier - Como es tas? (is that right?) Good to see you here!

I kind of like that chromed out tan interior (except for the chrome :0)). I'm actually aiming for something more... something like this:

www.o-boyle.com/ourcar/images/fini002.JPG
www.o-boyle.com/ourcar/images/fini003.JPG

These pictures aren't from an ultima but you'll get the idea. Obviously there isn't that much space in an ultima so the challenge is to design something that appears spacious in a cramped area.

On a related note, I'm tracking down places that sell materials that can be used in interiors. I'm looking for cloths, plastics, metal, and a variety of trum material. The larger pieces will be carbon fiber of course. Anyone have some good links for for these items?

Ultima club site has a few cars that have custom interiors.

There are two there that have custom Stack dash displays and other variants based around clocks. I did a custom dash for my Stack in leather so I can understand you going that route

Carbon fibre and the like can be found at www.aircraftspruce.com as well as some other things... I have no Idea for anything in the UK however.
