For the front wheel wells, I used Ronseal Isoflex Liquid Rubber paint - it will help stop a stone from damaging the wheel well when it flies off the tyre...

Plastic dip also works well in all areas

For all the other areas , including the undersides of the front and rear clams, and inside of the sidepods, I brushed on a couple of coats of Tetrosyl stone chip paint. It smells a bit so I advise the use of a suitable breathing mask while you are doing it.

Usually if it smells it works well, living in Kalifornia we don't allow smells of any sort, including cow farts

When I cut through the top of the front wings, to fit my new carbon fibre vents, I found the GF to be 3/8" thick!

For a craze to appear in the top of the wing you will need a brick to be thrown up at high speed....
The carbon fibre vents I bonded in were 2mm (1/12") thick.

I did use a stone chip shutz(sp) coating under the two pack paint.

No problems in 10000+ miles.

I have a spider crack in the gel coat directly atop of one wheel arch from what I assume is a stone being thrown up.

Less than 2000 miles on the car, and only one track day.
