Hi guys Im having some trouble with my air con system we are seeing high pressures on the high side and too low a pressure on the low we think its the expansion valve.. My question is this.... is there a place where I can find a comprehensive parts list and part numbers and possibly a parts cross reference index. I bought my ultima used and well there is really no manual and even if there were there is no comprehensive parts list. Im in the US and overtime I need a part for my ultima I have to contact the factory and well sometimes it would be easier to be able to get the parts locally especially if they can be cross referenced. anyway any help is appreciated.
It will be best for you to find a local air-con specialist. I suspect none of the parts are Ultima specific so they can probably source parts locally to fix the issue.
You will need them to recharge the system anyway.
I have a local chap in the UK who checks my system each year before I set off to Le Mans.

I presume it's an R134a system? What pressures are you seeing? I have done a few conversions (or fixed others mistakes when it doesn't work) on Pantera's, the biggest mistake is leaving an R12 expansion valve which has a different orifice size and will blow high side hoses with R134a. So yes perhaps as simple as a blocked orifice and can be cleaned. You can reverse flush the system with a good solvent which might fix it.
I get all my air con needs from Vintage Air or a local air con wholesaler. Any good shop should be able to match the expansion valve fairly easily.

thank you for the replys
the pressures Im seeing is 350 on the high and 20 to 25 on the low
I was trying to get the other unit without having to take the one that is on the car out and leaving the system un charged or "open" to atmosphere but looks like I might have to. I do all the ac work on the car my self we have everything we need to properly vacuum, clean and recharge the system just not all the part numbers
sometime the factory doesn't get back to me for a few days (although they are usually very good and helpful) then it seems like projects on the car take forever especially since I need my lift to work on my other cars....

it does look just like that one in your link from what I can see under the dash.
I have already placed an order for one that looks exactly the same from vintage air at a local online parts store, but can't be certain until I get it and try to install it.
